I am a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Ayub Medical College and Ayub Teaching Hospital, Abbottabad, with over 25 years of teaching and extensive clinical experience. I hold MBBS, FCPS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), MRCOG, and a Master Certification in Advanced Uro-Gynaecology. My clinical interests include advanced gynaecological surgery, laparoscopy, hysterectomy, myomectomy, and uro-gynaecological care. My academic and research work includes a published study on letrozole versus danazol for pain relief in endometriosis, reflecting my interest in women’s reproductive and pelvic health.
Work & Mission
My work combines clinical care, medical education, research, and academic leadership, with contributions to advanced laparoscopic gynaecology and the establishment of urogynaecology services. I am committed to evidence based, patient centred care and improving the awareness, diagnosis, and management of women’s reproductive and pelvic health conditions. My research includes endometriosis, reproductive health, surgical outcomes, and clinical research projects including the Women Trial and Woman 2 Trial. Through the Endometriosis & Adenomyosis Society Pakistan, I aim to promote professional education, collaborative research, evidence-based practice, and greater awareness of endometriosis and adenomyosis.
