With 12 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, working predominantly in a resource-limited facility with a high obstetric workload, my experience in adenomyosis and endometriosis has developed within the scope of available resources.
For adenomyosis, I have experience with both conservative medical and surgical management, with treatment individualized according to symptoms, age, fertility wishes, severity and response to treatment.
My experience with endometriosis has been more limited. The surgical cases encountered have mainly been large ovarian endometriomas requiring laparotomy.
I have also identified and referred patients with suspected or extensive endometriosis, particularly complex cases, to specialized centres for further evaluation and management. This experience has strengthened my ability to individualize treatment, preserve fertility where possible, recognize complex disease, and make appropriate referrals when specialized services are required.individualized, patient-centred management.
Work & Mission
With experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, I work in a predominantly obstetric setting,
managing a high volume of obstetric patients alongside a broad range of general
gynecological conditions through appropriate medical and surgical care, with timely
referral of complex cases. My mission is to enhance my practical skills in the diagnosis and
management of endometriosis and adenomyosis, strengthen fertility-preserving and safe
surgical care, and develop appropriate referral pathways for complex cases.
